This poster design was created for a special event that took place in Boone, North Carolina. The event was a lecture with artist and designer Geoff McFetridge, the design is meant to pay respect to the overall style of Geoff without using his actual works or designs. The challenge of the design was primarily how to find that balance between Geoff McFetridge own style and my own. The final result or final version of the design showcases Geoff’s own aesthetic style while also including my own and including all of the important information about the event that the audience needs in order to attend to the lecture/event.
